Welcome to Witherley CE Primary School 

On behalf of staff and governors I would like to welcome you to Witherley Church of England Primary school.

Here at Witherley we seek to provide the highest standard of education for all of the pupils in our care. As a Church of England school, our vision and values are firmly rooted in Christianity and our vision statement ‘Let your Light Shine’ (Matthew 5:16) fully encompasses our whole school ethos.

We want our pupils to be aspirational, confident and empowered so that they become lifelong learners. We aim to provide them with the life skills necessary to engage at every stage of their development and to ultimately give them the skills necessary to be successful academically, socially and emotionally in what is a rapidly changing world. We provide a positive, inspiring and nurturing learning environment where each individual is valued and respected.  All children are individual and have talents and abilities to be nurtured and celebrated. It is our role to help them discover and develop these.

As a small village school we value the partnerships that we have with parents, children, governors, the local Church and community and believe that by working together the pupils at our school experience the best possible start in life.
