The Visionary (2023)
Children in Pathfinders have been looking at Ada Lovelace and her contributions to the advancement of technology. She was famous for her inventions and developments in technology and became known as the first computer programmer. We have learnt, through her life story, all about her achievements and ongoing legacy.
We had a go at programming our robot friend and writing algorithms (instructions) for a robot to follow.
We designed and created our own flying machine like she thought about when she was a child.
We enjoyed finding out loads of information about her.
