Our topic for this term was Picture Our Planet where we have focused on three contrasting places around the world; Brazil, Scotland and Fiji. We have learnt about human and physical features in each country along with dance, traditions and environmental issues.

We have learnt the Capoeira which is a Brazilian dance that is mixed martial arts, acrobatics and dance. We had great fun learning some of the main movements and creating our own inspired dance. We have also explored the artwork by Romero Britto, a Brazilian Pop Artist and created our own. 

When learning about Scotland, we have learnt some traditional line dancing, taken part in our own version of the highland games and made Scottish tablet.

We learnt the Haka and know why it is danced at the start of rugby matches, practised weaving and we also took part in our own protest about deforestation.
