In Come Fly With Me! Africa, we have learnt all about the history and geography of Africa, including its location and largest countries. In literacy lessons, we have written instructions for how to create a stunning African sunset picture and we are reading African folk tales. Our art work is very exciting, as we are creating Lion King inspired masks.

Preparing and Tasting African Food
We have learnt about foods that grow in different parts of Africa, Fair Trade and have had cooked and tasted African food. The recipes we tried were:
- Couscous and pomegranate,
- Spiced tomato and couscous soup,
- Moroccan aubergine bake,
- Banana and mango smoothie.
We learnt about basic food hygiene, keeping ourselves safe when using knives and the hob/oven and we enjoyed trying new foods!
