About Us

We are a small, friendly village school  situated in the picturesque village of Witherley, on the Leicestershire-Warwickshire border, within a few miles of the market towns of Atherstone and Market Bosworth.

We aim to provide a stable, caring, Christian environment where children are encouraged to develop their full potential in all aspects of the curriculum. We encourage the children to develop a caring attitude towards each other and to respect the opinions, attitudes and beliefs of others.

Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the churches at parish and diocesan level.

The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian value through the experience it offers to all its pupils.

Access outside of these times is via the main entrance on Church Road where there is a intercom and buzzer system in operation.
