Artist Study - LS Lowry

We looked at some of the most famous works produced by LS Lowry.  We learnt about his life; where he lived, his childhood, his job and what inspired his work.  We then had a go at creating our own Lowry inspired art, thinking about perspective (background and foreground), the types of buildings we needed to include and the 'matchstick' people going about their daily lives.  The final pieces are fabulous and really do resemble Lowry's work!
