The theme of this year's Safer Internet Day as Inspiring Change? Making a Difference, Managing Influence and Navigating Change Online. 

As a class and in groups, we've looked at how technology has changed over years and how we are influenced online; we've looked at icons (autoplay, typing indicator, pop-up, red notification bubble etc), matched them to a description and then explained how they are influencing and persuading us to do something. We also looked at how online content can influence us both positively and negatively. All of the activities, have really made us think about the need to have a moment to think before we do/watch/play something and about how to keep ourselves safe online.
