Forest Schools (October 2020)
October marked our first forest schools trip and we had an absolutely amazing day, even with the rainy weather.
We built fairy houses using natural materials in the forest. We worked as a team to build the houses and move the heavy logs. Some of us built a home for a friendly dragon that lived in the forest.
Everyone had a go at using flint and steel to start a fire. We cut slices of logs to make forest school medals.
We had fun making dragon medicine in the mud kitchen. Some of us were really brave and climbed over the tunnel.
Toasting marshmallows on the fire was the perfect end to our day.
We enjoyed exploring the forest and we cannot wait to go back in spring!
