Autumn 2 and Spring 1 Dimensions - Come Fly With Me! Africa

For our Culture Dimensions unit, we have been learning about Africa. We have learnt lots!

For science we have learnt about balanced diet, teeth and digestion, in art we have made our own Lion King inspired masks, in PSHE we have compared schools, in ICT we have learnt how to create PowerPoints and lots more.

African Cooking

We made:

  • Couscous and pomegranate,
  • Spiced tomato and couscous soup,
  • Moroccan aubergine bake,
  • Banana and mango smoothie,

We all tried everything, some dishes we liked and some dishes we didn't.

Homework

We have produced some amazing pieces of creative homework. 

ICT PowerPoints

We have learnt how to use MS PowerPoint including changing the font, copying and pasting photos, inserting new slides and how to transition between slides. 

Art - Lion King Masks

Having watched The Lion King and The Lion King Musical trailer, we were inspired to make our own masks.
