For our topic, volcanoes, we have be trying to make our own eruptions. First, we went outside and dropped Mentos into a bottle of coke - the coating on the Mentos reacted with the sugar in the coke and it exploded out. After, we created our own volcanoes from sand and mixed bicarbonate of soda and vinegar - these reacted together and bubbled out of the test tubes. It was a great lesson!
